2010 Outlook

Commercial real estate still faces challenges as we enter 2010; however we see the market greatly improving during the year due to its increasing stability. The economic recession is likely to end within the next six months, and commercial real estate would be the next to follow. The lack of lending will continue to be an obstacle, but those with solid businesses and good potential will be able to capitalize on lower rents before the market rebounds and the numbers rise. After the quiet period during 2009, investors will be jumping on properties in an effort to “time the market”. The initial recovery will occur in the latter half of the coming year and the large, broad-based growth will greatly occur in 2011.
